I’ve done a few military shoots now. All of them free. Not only have I taken time out of my schedule, I’ve invested time, energy, and money into these shoots. It’s costing me to do these for free. But you know what? I do it gladly. It brings joy to my heart to give pictures to people I feel really, really deserve them.
I have also given far more pictures/time than what my free sessions are meant to offer- a minimum of 30 pictures and one hour on location. All of them have taken a minimum of 2 hours (not to mention homecomings which are 6+ hours) with hundreds of pictures given by the end.
That being said, I request again that those of you I have worked with would please, PLEASE, give credit. I’ve seen countless photos of mine across tumblr (which is GREAT!) without a word of credit given to me. This is really important, and a fair request. With the time and money these shoots cost me, it shouldn’t cost me recognition, too.
Please don’t take this as a complaint- just a reminder. I love what I do and I will never stop.
